Lo Stagnone is one of the Europe’s most upcoming kite destinations and there are more then few reasons for it!
Wind conditions: There is no season in Sicily! Wind is blowing all year long! The most reliable are autumn and spring where the wind tends to get stronger, while the summers are warm and heating of the lagoon creates regular thermic wind perfect for 9-12m kites. Winters are also great, but pack thicker wetsuit.
Spot for kitesurfing: Lagoon is huge and we do not exaggerate! While in front of the schools it can get a bit crowded, mediocre kiter has no problem to kite away for 5 minutes and find empty spot with flat water where he can kite in complete solitude. With the different wind directions lagoon offer many different spots with unique characteristics. Sandy beaches around the island, flat water behind broken salina (salt fields) walls, big downwinders or kite all the way up to the sea with some waves.
100m from the kite spot with view to the lagoon of Stagnone. Excellent choice for all riders and families as well. Freshly refurbished apartments with 2-3 rooms, bathroom, kitchenand washing machine in all apartments. 4 apartments in total with 3 2 room and 1 3 room apartman. Each of them can take spare beds (normal beds) in case you plan to come with your company. Enjoy our roof top terrace and watch the sunset over the Stagnone lagoon!

All main European airports have good connections to Palermo (1h away from spot), but if you can find a direct flight to Trapani way much better (3k from spot).
