We start the tour departing from Lagoinha, and setting sail in the warm and flat turquoise bay of Flecheiras. After a short break for hydration and lunch, we reach one of the highlights of the trip, Mundaú, a beautiful river mouth. From here we continue downwind to Baleia, another remote and unexplored spot. The scenery and sweet waves rolling in, will make this downwinder unforgettable. We close the first day with driving to Icaraizinho, our base camp for the next two nights.
We have time in the morning to enjoy kiting at the charming Icaraizinho’s main kite spot, chill and have an açaí, before heading downwind to the Secret Spot. At the “Punta”, relatively flat conditions, or some waves rolling in, will be waiting for us to be ridden and enjoyed.
We start our kitesurfing day at Moitas, another virgin river mouth and a turquoise lagoon, from where we continue downwind to discover another beautiful river mouth Torroes. This spot is so good, you will never want to leave. We complete the day by arriving to another prime location, Ilha do Guajirú, where we settle in for the next two nights.
After almost being able to launch your kite from your bed, you have all day to enjoy the spot, laying right in front of our doorstep. We will show you the best places in the lagoon, and if desired, we can take you downwind to Espraiado, a completely unexplored and adventurous flat water spot, for a typical Brazilian lunch.
By car reach the beach of Preá, which holds its fame for being the windiest place in Brazil. We will enjoy relatively flat water conditions and a lovely view of the dunes of Jericoacoara Park, promising a nice afternoon. We’ll have some lunch in Preá, and then head for a short downwinder towards the dunes, before we drive to Jeri, and climb the great sand dune, where everyone meets to see the sunset.
We visit the Lagoa Grande of Tatajuba, a picturesque local destination. It’s a nice place to visit and see, but tricky to kite, as the wind can be strong and gusty, changing direction as you ride in different locations in the lagoon. We will spend more time kiting at the Guriú river mouth, and have some lunch in the mangrove forest, before crossing back to the other side of the river, for a perfect way to close the trip – a sunset session in the river mouth Guriú, with flat water and small waves.
